Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ML platform services including feature stores, real-time inference services, and vector databases serving millions of transactions per second.
Run and monitor online A/B tests and analyze platform metrics and business KPIs to optimize recommendation performance.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into modular platform components and APIs.
Enhance the ML platform ecosystem to improve developer velocity, scalability, and adaptability.
Contribute to onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members on platform engineering practices and technologies.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience building software solutions to concrete problems.
Strong computer science fundamentals and the ability to write algorithms effectively.
Fluency in one or more high-level programming languages such as Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, S3, and Airflow.
Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools including Ray, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and AWS SageMaker.
AI literacy and curiosity, including prior experimentation with generative AI or a willingness to explore it.
A master's degree in computer science or a related field.

Salary: $230k - $360k/yr
