Responsibilities

Design and build AI-driven products for subscriber acquisition and revenue growth.
Develop backend services, high-scale data-driven applications, and responsive scalable web interfaces.
Contribute code, code reviews, system architecture, and long-term technical leadership.
Build consumer experiences meeting performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and security standards.
Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and engineering teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
Implement unit, integration, automated UI testing, and other quality assurance practices.
Architect and integrate distributed, large-scale systems, microservices, and modular front-end systems.
Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident management, automation, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
Deploy and manage cloud-based applications using AWS and managed Kubernetes services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in an occupation involving the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable software applications.
At least 3 years of experience developing backend services and high-scale, data-driven applications with Java, Python, and Go.
At least 3 years of experience building modern, responsive, and scalable web user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
At least 3 years of experience using ESBuild and Playwright for optimized interfaces and automated UI testing.
At least 3 years of experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
At least 1 year of experience implementing operational excellence frameworks in cloud environments.
At least 1 year of experience designing and working with scalable microservices and modular front-end systems.
At least 1 year of experience deploying and managing cloud-based applications on modern cloud platforms, including AWS and managed Kubernetes services.

Benefits

Partial telecommuting is permitted, with onsite work at 136 Madison Avenue in New York City when not telecommuting.

Salary: $132k - $230k/yr
