Responsibilities

Own the full software development lifecycle from business requirements through coding, deployment, and maintenance.
Design and implement new Data License Plus product features from inception through production.
Continuously improve the core product using new technologies.
Work across microservices, databases, messaging, streaming, and data-processing components.

Requirements

Production software engineering experience.
Experience with an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java or Python.
Broad knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Thorough understanding of systems architecture.
Understanding of modern design patterns and demonstrated experience applying them.
Preferred experience implementing APIs in a microservices architecture.
Preferred familiarity with Oracle or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch.
Preferred knowledge of Avro, Parquet, Apache Iceberg, or Delta Lake.
Preferred knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Interest in full-stack development spanning frontend development, microservices, and database modeling.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tackle new challenges.
