Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable server- and client-side test automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Selenium.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end and system test plans against customer deployment patterns.
  • Configure lab environments and containerized test setups using Docker.
  • Perform release-based validation for compatibility, availability, and uptime across weekly deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Buildkite pipelines to reduce test execution time and flaky builds.
  • Manage Maven build structures, dependency management, and automated release workflows.
  • Write operational automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
  • Analyze logs and observability metrics with Splunk, Sumo Logic, Kibana, or ELK to diagnose failures.
  • Use SQL for database validation and integrated backend testing.
  • Provide occasional on-call and debugging support to partner engineering teams in North America.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Engineer focused on SaaS products and release-based testing.
  • At least 4 years of Java-based test development experience with Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting.
  • Expertise maintaining and debugging CI/CD pipelines, managing dependencies with Maven, and using Docker for containerization.
  • At least 4 years of experience writing SQL queries for data verification and system integration testing.
  • Strong experience using Splunk, Kibana, or Sumo Logic to parse logs and trace test failures.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Bitbar, Appium, machine-learning-driven test tools, or performance and security testing in CI pipelines.
