Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
  • Create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones.
  • Extend automation frameworks and libraries to support new functionality.
  • Own end-to-end test execution for user stories and ensure quality delivery.
  • Perform automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
  • Create, maintain, and document testbeds and test environments.
  • Report, track, and update defects and test cases using test management tools.
  • Ensure quality benchmarks are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience.
  • B.Tech, B.E., M.E., or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Deep understanding of threading, multiprocessing, socket programming, networking protocols, and cloud architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or Golang.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Expertise in RESTful API testing.
  • Proficiency with Jira and XRay or similar bug and test management tools.
  • Proficiency with Git or SVN.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware is preferred.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra is preferred.
