Design, implement, and maintain high-performance live charts and dashboards for kHz-class, high-channel-count sensor telemetry.
Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA interfaces for monitoring, control, alarming, and operational visibility.
Build responsive real-time streaming UIs and post-processing tools for cross-run comparison, derived signals, and campaign analysis.
Define visualization architecture, rendering standards, testing strategies, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with data platform, controls, and test automation teams on streaming and time-series interfaces.
Lead debugging, root cause analysis, and performance improvements across the rendering-to-data stack.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience building real-time or data-intensive user interfaces.
Production-level experience with TypeScript/React or equivalent and Python.
Hands-on experience with high-performance rendering, live data visualization, streaming data, and UI performance under load.
Experience with high-reliability, on-premise, 24/7 deployments in safety-critical environments.
Preferred experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition and dashboarding tools such as Grafana.
Preferred experience with WebGL, canvas, custom rendering, pub/sub, and time-series interfaces such as OPC-UA and MQTT.
Preferred background in high-performance HMI design, real-time or high-reliability environments, and technical leadership or mentoring.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
