Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, maintain, and optimize software services and applications, primarily using Java.
  • Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions.
  • Design, query, and optimize database schemas and solutions for scalability and performance.
  • Use automation tools including Jenkins, Gradle, JUnit, and Terraform.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot software performance, coding, design, and database issues.
  • Maintain existing software and database solutions and stay current with new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Java or a similar programming language; Python is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue and full-stack development concepts.
  • Basic understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB databases.
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
  • Willingness to learn RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions and seek help.
