Build and ship real product features used by customers, including a full-stack feature in Ambrook’s core product.
Help improve the company’s infrastructure, development process, and codebase alongside experienced engineers.
Participate in engineering meetings, review peer code, and document opportunities to improve technical practices.
Break projects into granular tasks and triage and prioritize incoming issues.
Collaborate with Product to influence feature prioritization using customer and audience insights.
Develop an understanding of farm finance, farm operations, sustainability practices, and customer needs.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with expected graduation between Winter 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027.
Available to work full-time in the New York City office for 12–16 weeks between May and August 2026.
Strong computer science fundamentals and eagerness to learn.
Ability to take on ambiguous problems and create elegant technical solutions.
Bonus experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, and/or Next.js.
Bonus track record of building and shipping complex software projects.
Bonus experience in agriculture.
