Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality, distributed systems, and regulated banking environments.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using BDD/Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and UI automation frameworks.
  • Design scalable end-to-end test solutions across MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns.
  • Perform functional testing across ST, SIT, and E2E phases and manage defects using JIRA.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects.
  • Define quality gates, promote shift-left testing practices, and lead testing teams through complex transformation programs.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, acceptance-criteria development, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Support test environment management, ETL testing, API automation, performance testing, and testing of SaaS and internally built applications.

Requirements

  • Expertise in BDD/Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and UI automation frameworks.
  • Experience designing scalable end-to-end test solutions across MQ, Kafka, and file-based integrations.
  • Strong functional testing experience across ST, SIT, and E2E, including test strategy design for distributed systems.
  • Proficiency with JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
  • Deep knowledge of Trade Finance, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and SWIFT messaging.
  • Experience defining quality gates, driving shift-left practices, and leading testing teams through complex transformation programs.
  • Preferred experience with AI/ML tools for test optimization, intelligent test generation, and predictive analytics.
  • Preferred exposure to Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, Corporate Banking systems, MongoDB, ETL testing, API automation, test environment management, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex information, manage risk and controls, and influence stakeholders.
